Humayun Ajaz was born in 1980 in Lahore, the second biggest city of Pakistan. He completed his Bachelors degree, with distinction, from Pakistan's premium college, Government College Lahore. He accomplished his 1st Masters degree from Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan and second Masters degree in Chemistry from Siegen University, Germany. Then he was accepted as the PhD student in this group. The focus of his work in inorganic chemistry has been the formation of chalcogen (Se and Te) metal halides. In this field he remained successful in preparing some new chalcogen metal compounds. He is mainly working on expensive metals like Palladium, Platinum, Silver, Gold, etc. Humayun thinks himself to be a confident and bold person, he goes to gym regularly and is very health conscious. He sings and cooks well and has a good sense of humour. He loves to travel and have been to many countries of the world. | |
