Contents Lecture: The lecture covers different aspects of Advanced Solid State Chemistry oriented towards research projects, scientific equipment and preparative problems in diploma and master thesis as well as PhD thesis works in the Inorganic Chemistry division Part 1 - lattice energy and chemical bonding in solids (De) - advanced structural chemistry (De) - layer structures and intercalation (Ha) - glas and amorphous solids (Ha) Part 2 (Methods (some with practical demonstrations)) - Vibrational Spectroscopy (Ha) - space groups and symmetry (En) - X-ray structure analysis (En) - Scanning Electron Microscopy (De/Re) - Impedance Spectroscopy and other methods (De/Mi) Part 3 - applications of solids: conductivity, ceramics (De) - Hydrogen bonding in Solids (En) - Phase diagrams (En) - chemical preparation (Ha) |
Exercise: The exercises will intensify the subjects treated in the lectures. Written examination The written examination covers the contents of the lecture and consists of 10 exercises (max. 10 credits each, minimum 50 credists of 100 possible)
