Professor Carsten Engelhard receives the 2018 Mattauch Herzog Award

Professor Carsten Engelhard receives the 2018 Mattauch Herzog Award, which is sponsored by the German Society for Mass Spectrometry (DGMS) and endowed by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Germany.

The Mattauch-Herzog Award honors excellence in the field of mass spectrometry research. The Award is named in honor of Josef Mattauch and Richard Herzog who pioneered ion optics for mass spectrometry and developed a new type of mass spectrometer in 1934.

To be awarded at the European Mass Spectrometry Conference (EMSC) 2018, March 11-25, 2018, in Saarbrücken, Germany.
